As I struggled to pack, running around trying to find my toothbrush, she looked at me and said, “ Be brave mommy, you can do anything.” She held her little brother’s hand and helped him. I froze for a few seconds, seeing her full of grace and compassion. I was amazed. There is no greater joy for a mom than to see her child grow. As I struggle with comparison, my career, my house, my body … the never-ending list, I can’t help but smile at the one thing I know God has called me to be, and that’s a MOM. If there is only one thing I’m known for on this earth, that I raised awesome human beings, my job is complete. I invite you today to embrace your mommy-hood and remember that you are worth it, you are loved.

Mientras corría como loca de un lado a otro empacando y buscando mi cepillo de dientes. Ella me miró y me dijo “ Se valiente mami, tú puedes”. Tomo la manita de su hermano y lo ayudo. Me quede congelada por unos segundos. Estaba totalmente impresionada. Verla llena de gracia y compasión es increíble. No hay mayor orgullo para una mama que ver a sus hijos crecer. Mientras sufro con comparar mi carrera, mi casa y mi cuerpo con las de otras personas y varias cosas más ….. la lista es bastante larga. No puedo evitar sonreír ala cosa que estoy segura que Dios me a llamado ha ser, MAMÁ. Si solo se me conoce en esta vida por una cosa quiero que sea por criar unos humanos ejemplares. Te invito a que hoy a qué te sientas orgullosa de ser mamá. Y que recuerdes que tienes valor y que eres amada.
